Pitched as Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure in middle school, the series follows Javi Santiago, a sandwich-obsessed Puerto Rican sixth grader who inadvertently lets Blackbeard the Pirate loose on his town when his antique dinner table actually brings his homework to life. Then Javi realizes that a lot of people in his town seem suspiciously out of place, sparking a time-hopping, reality-busting escapade.
Elana Roth Parker at Laura Dail Literary Agency brokered the three-book deal for world English rights with Annie Berger, Sr. Editor at Sourcebooks.

Victor Piñeiro is the director of digital innovation at HBO Max, and has managed @YouTube and launched @Skittles, creating its award-winning zany voice. He's also designed games for Hasbro, written/produced a documentary on virtual worlds, and taught third graders. Time Villains is his first novel.
